Looking for a massive blank canvas for your celebration? The Eastern may be your place. It’s a modern industrial wedding and reception venue centrally located in downtown Detroit. The 5,000 square foot warehouse can be decorated to suit any preference and can fit 300 seated guests (or 600 dancing guests). I hear your concerns already — where will everyone park? Luckily, they have on-site parking! Additional included amenities are network receiver and speaker system, security camera system, and handmade tables and benches. For an extra cost you can also utilize a full bar and bartenders, enhanced sound system and wireless PA, and a lighting system. One reviewer said, “It’s such a great space. Waterview Loft

If you’re looking for that city feeling paired with a view of the legendary Detroit River, Waterview Loft may be your wedding venue! This venue offers shore-to-shore panoramic views of both the Windsor skyline and the Detroit River. The perfect backdrops for your photos! The Conservatory is a beautiful location for your ceremony with window-lined walls and white garden chair seating for up to 225 guests. Once the ceremony is finished, you and your guests simply go upstairs to the Loft for the reception. This move allows you and your guests to get the party started without having to wait for a space to be transformed. If you’d like one less thing to worry about, they even offer a licensed or ordained minister along with refreshing infused water for your guests. All 225 guests will have plenty of room to dance in the reception space. When guests need to re-fuel before returning to the dance floor, you can choose a plated dinner delivered with signature black glove service or a strolling meal around chef-attended stations. Built with ornate Spanish Revival and Arts & Crafts architecture, decorated with warm hand-painted dining rooms and an exquisitely landscaped garden patio, guests (all 450 of them) will need to take extra time to pick their jaws up off the gorgeous floors. Not only is it an appealing space, this is another location under the Forbes Hospitality umbrella (AKA the best-of-the-best service). The Gem Theatre is just one of the unique event spaces and it is ideal for your ceremony and/or your reception. The Century Club is perfect for a cocktail reception or additional space for a larger event. The Century Theatre and Century Dining Room offer dreamy lighting for a ceremony or cocktail hour, with seating for 150 or more guests to enjoy lunch or dinner. These meals are guaranteed to be delicious, prepared fresh and on-site. If you’d like a summer wedding (from May to October), the landscaped garden patio is open for use for a breezy cocktail hour.
