At Crossroads Conference Center, Wedding Planning is a Breeze
Crossroads Conference Center has been “happily hosting events” in Grand Rapids since its opening in 2007. “We host a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, galas, trade shows, holiday parties, and, of course, wedding ceremonies and receptions,” says Jenn Becker, director of sales and events. “We can accommodate groups as large as 400, as small as four, or any size in between.”
Located just south of downtown Grand Rapids with easy on and off access right at the M-6 and US 131 business exchange, the banquet center’s convenient location is just one of many reasons couples love hosting their weddings here. “We are a one-stop shop for the venue, food, and bar, making coordinating a breeze for the bride and groom,” Becker says. “Instead of working with a different person for each of these things, we take care of it all. We also share a parking lot with a Holiday Inn, making it super convenient for you and your guests. We also have the flexibility to do small and intimate or large and extravagant, so whatever vision the bride and groom may have, our staff can help to make it happen.”
The gorgeous 7,200-square-foot, flexible event space features a sky-painted lobby, a picture-perfect bubble wall, and a romantic outdoor fountain that Becker says is great for guests on “those warm summer nights.” Each wedding package includes full China service, white floor length table linens, white chair covers, and your choice of chair sash color and napkin color. This service makes selecting décor elements stress free. Crossroads also provides 12″ round mirrors and three votive candles per table that can be used as a base for centerpieces. There is also a projector and screen with audio for a memorable photo montage and color coordinated LED lighting throughout to create the perfect mood and ambiance.
“We pride ourselves on our reasonably priced All-Inclusive Wedding Packages,” Becker says. “Our packages range in price from $40 to $60 per person and include everything you’ll need for your big day. Appetizers, dinner, five hours of hosted bar service, basic decor, and the venue itself are all included in the per person price.” Meals are crafted by the award-winning culinary team at Distinctive Catering and include some staff favorite dishes, like Chicken Chardonnay, Sirloin Beef Tips, and the Chef-Carved Prime Rib.
From the packages to the event space to the staff’s unparalleled customer service, Crossroads Conference Center is a timeless choice for brides and grooms. “We will be happy to work side by side with you from that very first phone call or e-mail until the very last dance on your wedding night,” Becker says. “We’re here to help you make your wildest wedding dreams a reality at an affordable price!”
