“Our pictures on our website are beautiful, but they don’t do the space justice,” says Venue and Sales Director Marija Tilmann. “When you walk into the room, it’s a jaw-dropping moment because we have amazing 360-degree views that I don’t think you can find anywhere else in Grand Rapids.” 

The High Five includes a large, renovated loft space on the 5th floor, with original roller-rink hardwood floors and exposed classic brick. The space also features beautiful chandeliers, artisan tile and glass, high wood-beamed ceilings with metal trusses, and large, restored windows. The space is open and free of pillars, creating a flexible and unobstructed area ideal for any event layout. The High Five also offers a smaller room on the fourth floor available for ceremonies, pictures, or cocktail hours, as well as a large and cozy get-ready suite for the bridal party.  

The venue offers three different packages. The Reception Package includes only the fifth floor space and is ideal for couples who will host their ceremony at another location. The Silver Package includes both the fourth and fifth floor spaces, allowing couples to host their ceremony on the fourth floor and their reception on the larger fifth floor. Lastly, the Gold Package includes both floors but also allows couples to host the ceremony and reception on the fifth floor, flipping the space between events while guests enjoy cocktail hour on the fourth floor. The High Five also provides a list of preferred vendors for catering and bar services.

All packages include full-day access to the bridal suite, tables, chairs, built-in and portable bars, custom floor plans, and unlimited access to expert High Five staff. As part of their five-star service, The High Five team helps with everything from ceremony coordination to custom floor plan design — including designing specific layouts and moments for cake cutting, photo backdrops, and more.

In addition to their amazing customer service, The High Five recently launched their Signature Rental Collection. The High Five Signature Rental Collection offers high-end candles, votives, linens, and more to put the finishing touches on any event. The rental collection was designed to help couples avoid the extra hassles of bringing in, setting up, and tearing down items — allowing them to spend more time celebrating and less time working. The High Five team will also help couples pick items from the collection and design their event look and feel.
