A Glow Up At Hidden Grove Estate

Nestled in the woods of Williamston, Mich., is a newly renovated events venue brimming with vintage elegance, charming vistas, and modern amenities. Hidden Grove Estate was under construction from late 2023 to mid-2024 while owners Andrea and Craig Kleiver renovated every inch of the venue, including raising the roof over the dance floor, knocking out walls, new flooring, new wall treatments, new lighting, and all new furniture and styling. 

“Hidden Grove Estate has a modern aesthetic with mid century touches,” Andrea says. “I also included rustic and organic elements, because when I design spaces, I want them to reflect their environment. The estate is back against the creek, in the woods, and features large windows with views of the trees. Overall, the space is very sophisticated in terms of look, but the rustic elements add warmth and make it homey.”

The bed-and-breakfast-style venue includes multiple spaces to enhance your wedding weekend. The venue currently features one outdoor ceremony location, underneath a white gazebo that overlooks a babbling brook and acres of woods. However, the Hidden Grove Estate team is already planning further renovations to add two additional ceremony spaces: an indoor/outdoor space in their garden room and an additional outdoor space across the bridge under a pavilion in the woods. Both spaces are in the works and will be available for 2026 weddings and beyond. Further construction plans are also in the works to renovate the five B&B-style rooms on the second floor.

In addition to ceremony spaces, Hidden Grove Estate offers a reception area with a bar and dance floor, a dining area, living room areas, and two get-ready rooms. The bridal get-ready room includes comfortable furniture, salon-ready chairs and LED mirrors, a garment space and steam closet, a mini-fridge for drinks, and a frame TV. The space also overlooks the ceremony space, making it the perfect spot for brides to take a last peek before heading toward the altar. The second get-ready room is a lounge space with a golf simulator, pool table, poker table, arcade games, and more.

“Hidden Grove Estate is unique because it’s an entire estate,” Andrea says. “Traditionally, wedding venues offer a single room, but with Hidden Grove Estate the entire property is yours. It’s very intimate.”

They offer one-day, two-day, or three-day packages that can include extra spaces throughout the venue, as well as setup and teardown of their tables, chairs, and linens. If guests choose the multi-day packages, then overnight lodging, a rehearsal dinner, and a morning-after breakfast can also be included. While the venue does not have in-house catering, they do have a list of preferred vendors to recommend. Packages can be adjusted based on the couple’s needs and the number of guests staying overnight.

The new Hidden Grove Estate combines the peace of its natural surroundings with unique and fun services, creating the perfect atmosphere for a joyful, intimate wedding. Despite finishing construction only this year, Hidden Grove Estate has already hosted multiple weddings and received overwhelmingly positive feedback on its new look and feel.

“I had so many brides sign their contracts with Hidden Grove Estate amid the construction dust,” Andrea says. “When they returned after renovations were complete, they cried as they saw the new space and said it was better than they hoped. We didn’t expect to book weddings during construction, but we received such positive feedback as we led tours with our design renderings. The feedback has been so important and motivating for us, and we’re so grateful.”
