Great Lakes Gown Care, a division of Great Lakes Clothing Care & Wedding Gown Specialists, was established in 2006. A family business to its core, owner Tami Parks was raised in her family’s dry cleaning and laundry business. “I learned the art of preserving wedding gowns from my mother during my teenage years,” Parks says. Her early introduction to the delicacies of gown-care techniques laid the foundation for what would become a respected and trusted name in the Michigan garment care world. Since its start, the business has grown to boast three locations in the greater West Michigan area. 

With two locations in Holland and one in Grand Rapids, the company specializes in cleaning, preserving, repairing, and restoring wedding gowns, christening gowns, and other precious garments from all over the United States. Great Lakes Gown Care is proud to have four expert seamstresses on staff who provide bridal and formal alterations for local clients. The dedication to quality and detail is evident in every garment that passes through their doors.
