Must-Have Looks to Not Forget About in your Bridal Era if you are a Content Queen

A style playbook by Daniella, Founder & Designer of Bach HQ™

Long gone are the days of just having to worry about a bridal shower outfit and a wedding dress, welcome the new era of being a Bride. As if two outfits were not enough to figure out, on top of everything else to do with wedding planning, the trend of content! content! content! is here to stay. In fact, one of the most requested, newer vendors on the scene in the bridal industry are Wedding Content Creators; hired specifically to capture content for your social media (style, fashion, aesthetic, action, etc.).

The ante to have more events and thus more looks, has been upped, but do not fret, we have you covered. While it is our passion to stay on top of the latest trends to know what styles to design and curate for our Bride-to-Be’s, we put together a list of the more unique celebrations and occasions we are seeing content being captured, so that you can have all your bases covered when setting out to decide what your stylebook vision is; should you choose to incorporate these events into your own Bridal journey. Let’s take a look below:

Engagement Party – Not required, but oh so fun to throw is your engagement party celebrating the newly engaged couple with all their closest. This is truly one of the first events that begins the events towards the aisle. Brides get to fully embody the “bride-to-be” status and are taking this moment to have some fun with their look. Style Trend: Flirty, Fun Pieces, Accessory Embellishments, Bows

Engagement Photos – The engagement photoshoot is becoming one of the most sought-after shoots of in bride’s timeline. These photos will last a lifetime and be seen for generations. Rate is it to see anymore a couple holding hands on the beach in jeans, these shoots are now turning into full-blown editorial, magazine worthy shoots. Style Trend: Daring Bows, Little White Dresses, Sunglasses, Veils

Bachelorette – A one evening Bachelorette party? Not likely. Bachelorettes are now turning into full day and night bashes or as of late, actual vacations. The bride’s looks are extremely important, as not only are you capturing footage, but all your girls are of you too. Style Trend: Themed Looks, Little White Looks, Bridal Swimwear with Bows, Sparkle/Shine, Electric Colors

Courthouse – Leave it to Kourtney Kardashian Barker to make the Courthouse Marriage license part the journey the most epic moment to be caught on film. Being photographed with the license in hand as you walk out the courthouse or the kiss as you drive off is becoming a must-have content piece to a bride’s collection of memories. Style Trend: Shorter versions of a “wedding dress”, accessory veils, long silk dresses and pant suits.

Welcome Party (if Destination Wedding) – With more and more weddings becoming destination the “Welcome Party” aspect to the long wedding extravaganza’s is becoming a prime event to say hello to your guests and welcome them to your wedding weekend. We saw influencers and celebrities alike in beautiful ensembles and actually detouring away from wearing white for this occasion. Style Trend: Bold Colors – Reds, Oranges, Yellows and Florals.

Morning of – Some of the most beautiful content is captured getting ready the morning of your wedding, so Brides are putting tremendous effort into what they will be wearing getting ready. Style Trend: Embroidered Pajama Sets, Long Robes and Silky Silhouette’s.

2nd Look – Say hello to the 2nd most important outfit on your Wedding Day, the 2nd Look where the Bride can really let her hair down and true color shine. This is chance for the “demure” bride to transition into a fun and flirty number to show her sexier side to her husband! Style Trend: Short Dresses, a sparkle component, Bows.

Night of – If Alex Cooper taught us nothing else with her SKIMS campaign, the night of looks is becoming just as hot as the dresses! I wouldn’t say you’d hire a content creator for this piece of the journey, but it is definitely an “outfit” you want to put some thought into and/or use for a boudoir shoot for your husband to-be as a marriage gift. Style Trend: Bows on lingerie, fur element, silks
