Summer

Inspired by the beauty of blooming gardens and the magic of new beginnings, these cookies capture the essence of a romantic summer wedding. Vanessa Shmanske of Sweet Details GR incorporated charming shapes like butterflies, bows, and engagement rings to highlight the special details that make a wedding day unique. “Printed backgrounds echo the invitation suite, creating a cohesive and dreamy aesthetic that ties the entire celebration together,” Shmanske says. “This is one of our favorite details to add here at Sweet Details GR.” Individual cookie favors start at $65 per dozen and custom sets start at $75 per dozen, at Sweet Details GR, Grand Rapids; sweetdetailsgr.com.

Fall

Feminine florals inspired these fall cookies designed by McKenna Sturos of A Bite More Bakery. “I went with a soft color palette with neutrals and orange hues to play with the autumnal theme,” Sturos says. The added touch of gold provides depth and further interest. Decorated sugar cookies start at $6 per cookie, at A Bite More Bakery, Brighton; abitemorebakery.com.

Winter

A black-and-white color palette sets the tone for these elegant winter-inspired cookies designed by Amanda O’Neal of Sweet Mae’s Desserts. Gold details and anemone flowers give the set depth and beauty. “I take most of my inspiration from the invitations and photos of décor,” O’Neal says. “I love it when a client sends me a mood board.” Wedding cookie sets start at $65 per dozen, at Sweet Mae’s Deserts, Plymouth; sweetmaesdessertsmichigan.com.

Spring

These soft vanilla-almond cookies with vanilla-bean flecked icing and custom hand-piped designs, created by Laurel Kosel of Laurel Twist & Co., are elegant with a balanced, subtle sweetness perfect for spring. “These cookies were inspired by the many hues of spring, the timeless elegance of Bridgerton, and, unintentionally, my own wedding,” Kosel says. “They reflect a personal blend of delicate beauty and nostalgia.” Custom wedding cookies start at $72 per dozen, at Laurel Twist & Co., Ann Arbor; laureltwist.com.
