The Best Places to Put Flowers on Your Wedding Day
1. Wake up to flowers
Who doesn’t love the idea of waking up to gorgeous flowers? And especially on your wedding day? Order a special arrangement from your florist and have it delivered directly to your house. Place it by your bed the day before the wedding as a sweet reminder when you wake up that today is the day!

2. Use flowers in your hair
I love the look of flowers in hair. If you are not wanting to use flowers in your own hair for your wedding, consider it for your bridesmaids or – even cute – your flower girl(s)!

3. Incorporate flowers into your getting ready area
The morning of your wedding is such a fun part of the day. It’s you and all your girls getting ready, having mimosas, and snacking on yummy foods! Why not have some fresh flowers adorning the areas where you are getting ready?

4. Bouquets
We all love this one. Your bouquet is probably one of the first exciting things that you will see for the first time on your wedding day. Opening the box and seeing it there for reals is the BEST feeling! Whether it’s a tightly-packed arrangement of a cascading waterfall of flowers, this is definitely the highlight of all the florals on your big day!

5. Sign Adornment
Don’t just welcome your guests. Welcome them with flowers! That extra touch on your signage lets guests know that you care enough to add all the details that day! Small touches like this are what makes weddings special and unique!

6. Aisle Markers
Rows of chairs can be boring. Dress them up a bit with some fresh flowers! It doesn’t have to be every aisle…unless you’re feeling super extra! We also love the look of lining the walkway with flowers too!

Flower sculptures and installments a really cool way to create a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. All eyes will be on you two; give your guests a gorgeous backdrop to look at too!

Boutonnieres are an awesome way to incorporate flowers as well as other materials. Use this adornment to reflect not only your wedding style, but your groom’s personal style, taste, and interests as well!

9. Entrance Markers
Just like your welcome signs, adorning your entrance with flowers creates such a wow factor for your guests upon their arrival.
10. Table Décor
Whether it florals on the table as centerpieces or runners, canopies hanging over your tables, or florals on the backs of your chairs, table decor is a terrific way to use flowers on your wedding day! There are limitless options for this space. Work with your florist to create a space that really ties in your wedding theme here.

11. Rose Petals on Wedding Bed
At the end of your wedding day, what could be more romantic than rose petals on your bed? Ask the front desk of your accommodations to set this up with your turn-down service. Walking into this will be a wonderful way to finish off your amazing day!
We hope this has inspired you to explore even more ways you can incorporate flowers throughout your entire wedding day! Be sure to reach out to some of Michigan’s best florists to discuss your ideas!
