Dress To Theme — Or Nearly

Don’t let your guests get caught dressed informally! Make sure to include tips for dressing in the regency style on your invite. For the ladies, we recommend empire waisted gowns, lace gloves, pearls, and maybe a tiara for the bride. She is the the diamond of the season, after all! For the men, waistcoats, long tailed jackets, and tall boots are key. You can search online, or make a day of it with your squad and thrift for your costumes. If the group is willing to venture outdoors, however, it’s the perfect time to challenge everyone to a classic game of Pall-Mall, or croquet. A little rivalry never hurt anyone — although hopefully your group of Pall-Mall players will be more sportsmanlike than the characters in the series!
