• Black Star Farms: Black Star Farms has two locations, but the Suttons Bay winery features 160 acres, an equestrian facility, and hiking trails through the woods and vines. The winery also features a restaurant with a full menu, perfect for balancing out any day drinking. With a cozy vibe inside, panoramic views, an on-site inn, Sunday mimosas, and a private wine pavilion for up to 14 guests, it’s perfect for a getaway bachelorette weekend. • 45 North Vineyard & Winery: Named for the 45th Parallel that the winery sits on, 45 North is a beautiful facility in Lake Leelanau. Their private tasting events are offered in the loft and come with a server and custom menu. But if that’s not enough, they are located on 3 miles of gorgeous trails that are open year-round. Free to use, the trails are groomed for hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Nothing like a little workout in the woods to get you ready for a crisp glass of Riesling!

• Round Barn Winery: If you want a party, Round Barn Winery has got your back! Experience the full atmosphere with your group in one of their rentable cabanas or igloos, and enjoy food trucks, food delivery from the Round Barn Brewery and Public House, or even a private server with add-on options like mimosas! Or, if you want to keep your celebration more private, rent out one of their rooms that come with optional food packages. • Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant:  A little more upscale than Round Barn, Tabor Hill Winery offers multiple spaces for private events, award-winning wines, and a great restaurant. Our favorite rooms are the rentable Free Run Cellars for a boutique and intimate vibe — plus you’ll have access to their three partner food trucks. The best part? Their property connects to Round Barn via 3.5 miles of Mt. Tabor trails – and you can hike with a drink!

• Fenton Winery & Brewery:  Looking for something a little different? Fenton Winery and Brewery is known as a great restaurant and wedding venue, but they also offer space for private parties. For an added special touch, you can also request custom wine labels for any wine you buy, a great idea as a gift for the bride or the whole party. Plus, with their huge selection of wines, beer, and more — and an expansive restaurant menu — the whole gang is sure to find something they like.

For The Bride on the Move:

Can’t settle on just one? There are a lot of winery tour experiences, but some wineries will do all the work for you!

• French Valley Vineyards:  Another gem near Suttons Bay, this winery features a 75-acre farm with both vines and cherries — and offers standard tastings and a private dining room for up to 50 people. But the real fun is had when you sign up for one of their wine tours in a *limo*! With a minimum of 6 people, you can be chauffeured around in style to some of the best wineries in the area. If you’re too tired after a long day of sipping bubbly, they also have an inn for the weary (and maybe tipsy) traveler.
